Our favorite land in all of Disney World is by far Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios. If you are a fan of the Star Wars franchise, then this is a land you must see. From Rise of the Resistance to Savi’s Workshop to the milk stand you will feel as though you are there in Batuu. Read below to discover the 6 Things You Can’t Miss in Galaxy’s Edge.
1. Oga’s Cantina
One of our favorite things to do in Galaxy’s Edge is to have a drink at Oga’s Cantina. They have both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, but the best part of Oga’s is the atmosphere.
2. Savi’s Workshop
It’s a spurge, but building a light saber in Savi’s Workshop is a right of passage to a Star Wars enthusiast. I was able to go and watch my husband build his own lightsaber last year for Christmas, and it was an incredible experience.
3. Millennium Falcon
Another things you can’t miss in Galaxy’s Edge is the Millennium Falcon, partly because its huge and literally hard to miss, but mostly because it is iconic. You can even walk into parts of the Falcon if you ride Smuggler’s Run. Again, as a Star Wars fan… there’s nothing like it.
4. Rise of the Resistance
In my opinion, Rise of the Resistance is the best ride on Disney World property. It feels as though you’ve been placed into the movie, and I will never get over the incredible detail of this ride. 10/10 recommend.
5. The Creature Stall
At the creature stall, all sorts of critters from across the galaxy can be taken home with you. Our daughter chose her very own Porg on our last visit, and she loves him dearly.
6. Sabacc
Grabbing a snack and playing Sabacc in Galaxy’s Edge… is there anything more authentic? I recommend a Ronto Wrap or Kat Saka’s Kettle Corn. Grab a couple of friends and find a little nook somewhere in the land and play a game of cards. Just enjoying the atmosphere… that’s something you can’t miss.
