EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival 2024: The Best Activities

Sadly, EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival is almost done for the year. Although this festival has some excellent options for food, there’s more to it than just good eats. For that reason I though I would share some of our favorite activities at Epcot this time of year. Read below to discover EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival 2024: The Best Activities.

1. Butterfly Garden

Our favorite activity at the Flower and Garden Festival is the butterfly garden. There are hundreds of butterflies and you can even watch as they emerge from their chrysalis. This garden is a must-do for our family and is always so breathtaking. I highly recommend you add it to your bucket list.

2. See Every Topiary

Our daughter fell in love with the “flower characters” on our most recent trip to Disney World. She wanted to stop and adore every single topiary, and it started to become a bit of a scavenger hunt to see how many we could find. The topiaries themselves are so beautiful and worth a little extra admiration.

3. Spike’s Scavenger Hunt

If you or your little ones enjoy a good old fashioned scavenger hunt, be sure to keep your eyes open for Spike the Bee throughout Epcot. The map for the hunt costs about $10. When you complete your scavenger hunt, you can turn it in for a special prize that’s themed around the festival. So fun!

4. Take a Tour

There are a couple different tours you can take during Flower and Garden that make the event that much more magical. The English Tea Garden Presented by Twinings of London Tea is a guided tour that takes about 20 minutes. You can also take the tour without a guide and learn all about different types of tea. Another tour is called Behind the Seeds. This takes you backstage on Living with the Land to learn all about the greenhouses and various farming techniques.
