Where can you find The Best Cookies on Disney World Property? We’ve tried many a cookie and finally narrowed it down to four incredible locations. Read more below to discover where you need to go next.
1. Gideon’s
The obvious first place to visit is Gideon’s. People line up for literal hours to get a taste of their cookies, and for good reason. Gideon’s is best known for their rich, from-scratch, nearly half-pound cookies. My personal favorite is the Banana Nut Chocolate Chip, but the menu changes often. These cookies are great to freeze and save for an extra treat at home and can be easily shared.
2. Summer House on the Lake
An under-rated cookie stop in Disney Springs is Summer House on the Lake. These cookies are not as dense as Gideon’s but are still rather big. I’m not a big sugar cookie girl, but even that was delicious. I’ve also heard good things about the lemon and fudge bomb cookies. Summer House has a walk-up bakery case, so you don’t need to dine at the restaurant to enjoy a sweet treat!
3. Contempo Cafe
You might not think of cookies when you think of the Contempo Cafe, but I was pleasantly surprised on our last stay. They have a Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookie that is very sweet, but mouth-watering. There’s also churro and kitchen sink cookies available. If you need a little something at the end of a long park day, this is an excellent place to stop.
4. Main Street Confectionary
Our final selection for the The Best Cookies on Disney World Property is the Main Street Confectionary. I am such a sucker for the Peanut Butter M&M cookie. It’s soft and has the perfect balance of sweet and salty with a little crunch from the M&M candies…. I dream about this cookie. Nothing else at the Confectionary compares!
