bestillandwrite Last weekend we stayed at a lovely boutique hotel near Dallas called Hotel Vin. During our short stay we were simply blown away by the service, atmosphere and various other amenities. 1. Service
We arrived at Hotel Vin late in the evening, but the front desk staff was ready to help us with anything we needed. I’ve heard of southern hospitality, but this was nothing like what we had yet experienced in Texas.
2. Cleanliness
You know how some hotel seem clean, but when you look closer they are simply… not? This was not the case at Hotel Vin. The entire building smelled amazing and every nook and cranny was clean. That’s a rarity for a hotel so close to the airport.
3. Location
Speaking of the airport, this hotel was only seven minutes away from DFW and you would never know. It felt like we were staying in this quaint little town in Grapevine, nowhere near a big city. You can even take the TEXRail commuter train from the hotel to the airport itself and vise versa.
4. History
In our hotel room there was a book filled with the history of Grapevine, Texas. I found myself wishing I could stay longer just to learn more about the area. We are all from small towns in Kansas and take pride in our communities. It was lovely to see something similar at Hotel Vin.
5. Nearby Attractions
As I mentioned previously, we were not able to stay at Hotel Vin for long, but we are excited to go back in the future. There are so many fun things to see nearby, including a renowned chocolatier, Nash Farm, theme parks and aquariums, farmers markets and much more. Read more about attractions near Hotel vin HERE.
6. Comfort
Our final reason for loving Hotel Vin was the comfort. Our bed was actually comfortable to sleep in, which is sadly rare for us at many hotels we visit. It wasn’t loud or crowded, and honestly… it felt like a little retreat. We truly can’t wait to go back next year.
