bestillandwrite 1900 Park Fare recently re-opened at The Grand Floridian Resort near Magic Kingdom. The hype around this restaurant had me curious, so we decided to give it a try on our most recent trip. I’m so glad we did, because it did not disappoint! 1. Food
The food at 1900 Park Fare was some of the best we have had on Disney property. We were very impressed by everything we tried. I especially loved the steam vegetables and dessert. My husband was a big fan of the meat selection and mashed potatoes. There were plenty of options for everyone and even our preschooler enjoyed her meal.
2. Characters
The theme of 1900 Park Fare is wishes, so the four characters include Cinderella, Aladdin, Mirabel and Tiana. Much like the food options, the characters were impeccable. Mirabel was especially lovely and it felt like we were meeting the girl straight out of Encanto. Everyone was kind to our daughter and took the time to chat with her.
Also, I appreciated that they had a male character in the lineup, because you don’t often get to meet them at Disney and our daughter was smitten with Aladdin.
3. Atmosphere
1900 Park Fare is located inside the Grand Floridian Resort. This was my first time going to the restaurant, so I’m not sure what it looked like before the remodel. However, I thought it was so very beautiful.
During your meal you will experience the wish ceremony with Jiminey Cricket. Your party will be given a card on which to write your wishes. Jiminey will tell you to lift your wishes into the air. It’s such a sweet moment that honestly made me teary eyed. The idea is that you have to be a part of making your wishes come true.
4. Price
The price of our meal at 1900 Park Fare was a little more than other restaurants we have been to on property. However, with the incredible character experiences and delicious food… I think it might be worth it. We also had an extremely professional waitress. All in all it was a five star experience and worth the price tag. Just arrive hungry!
