Foods You Need to Try at Flower and Garden 2024

Flower and Garden is our favorite festival at Disney’s Epcot. The topiaries and flower displays are so beautiful. Not to mention the food is just mouth-watering. This was our second year going to Flower and Garden and I hope to make it an annual event. Read below to discover the Foods You Need to Try at Flower and Garden 2024.

Also, shout out to some dear friends who attended the festival with us and helped us eat all the yummy snacks and give reviews for foods we wouldn’t have normally tried. You know who you are and we love you!

1. Grilled Warm Lobster Tail from Florida Fresh

Although I’m not a fan of seafood, my husband is. He was so excited to see lobster on the menu and named this dish as his favorite of the festival. The key lime butter on top was creamy and fresh and delicious.

2. Cubanito from Florida Fresh

A friend of ours got the other two dishes from Florida Fresh and said if you are a cuban sandwich lover, that this mini version was an excellent choice.

3. Florida Strawberry Shortcake from Florida Fresh

The strawberry shortcake was both adult and toddler approved. It was a pretty traditional strawberry shortcake, so basic but yummy! The cake was a little dry, so maybe a bit more sauce would have been good.

4. Chicken & Waffles from The Honey Bee-stro

The next stop on our foodie crawl was the Honey Bee-Stro from chicken and waffles and oh boy this dish never disappoints. Also, if I recall correctly the dish was twice the size of last years and I’m so glad it was. The waffle is sweet and the chicken is crispy and savory. 10/10.

5. Croissant au Fromage de Chèvre Herbes et Ail Rôtie from Fleur de Lys

Now although the chicken and waffles is pretty good, my all time favorite dish of Flower and Garden remains the goat cheese croissant from France. I can’t even explain my love for this dish. I want to eat this every day regardless of the health consequences. It’s crispy and savory and so delicious I dream about it.

6. Beignet Caramelise, Fourre Creme Vanille, Glace au Caramel Fleur de sel from Fleur de Lys

I asked a cast member at the booth whether I should try the beignet or gateau and she said the beignet is better. We agree with her decision. Everyone in the group loved the beignet. The cream inside was a nice surprise and I thought it would throw me off because of texture, but I thought overall it was an excellent dessert.

7. Arrabbiata from Primavera Kitchen

Okay so the Italy booth was a bit of a disappointment for me and I did not finish my portion. I thought the pasta was over salted and lacking. However, the littles I was with very much enjoyed the pasta, so to each his own.

8. Quattro Formaggi from Primavera Kitchen

Friends of ours tried the Formaggi and very much enjoyed the dish. If you love Italian food I would perhaps give this booth a try.

9. Chocolate Cannoli from Primavera Kitchen

My favorite dish from the Primavera Kitchen was the chocolate cannoli. It was crispy crunchy on the outside and filled with a creamy peanut butter-ricotta filling. You can’t go wrong with peanut butter and chocolate.

10. Spicy Mala Chicken Skewer from Lotus House

Our friends tried the chicken skewer and said it is an annual festival favorite. There was a little kick to this dish and it makes for a good protein option between all the other sweet carb-y treats at Flower and Garden.

11. House-Made Cheesy Crab Wontons from Lotus House

A crowd favorite are the crab wontons. It’s difficult to share such a yummy dish. The wonton is crispy and the cheesy filling is perfectly savory. I thought I wouldn’t like the red sauce, but it made them even better and added a bit of sweetness.

12. Mango Bubble Tea from Lotus House

I’ve recently been introduced to bubble tea and found this non-alcoholic drink to be very refreshing and fun. The boba might bother you if you have sensory issues, but my daughter and I loved it. The tea was not too sweet and a good addition to our Chinese faire.

13. Frushi from Hanami

A few of our group tried the frushi, which was my sisters favorite dish last year. It’s light, but can be pretty filling with the rice. This is a run dish for kids as well.

14. Coconut Tres Leches from La Isla Fresca

If you are a coconut fan, then please try this cake. It’s vegan and made with oat, almond and coconut milk. The cake is perfectly moist and the little coconut flakes on top gave it a perfect crunch. I was pretty full by the end of the day and ate every bite anyway. No notes. This is a perfect cake.

15. Bonus: Maple Popcorn from Canada

I promised our sweet friends to tell you all about the maple popcorn in Canada! It is one of their favorite things in Epcot. And I have to agree, it’s pretty delicious. We had no idea what a sweet treat this popcorn would be. You can also get a refillable popcorn bucket to keep with you for the trip and take home. So, if you are fans of popcorn, be sure to give this a try!
