Our favorite thing about Magic Kingdom is getting to ride all the rides with our toddler. We’ve experienced almost every ride in the park, so I made a list of our favorites, or Rides Worth Waiting for in Disney’s Magic Kingdom. What’s your favorite Magic Kingdom ride?
1. It’s a Small World
By far my favorite ride at Disney is It’s a Small World. There’s something about the history of the ride, the nostalgia of the song and classic ride structure. My daughter and I adore it, so it’s a must-do whenever we are in the park.
2. Jungle Cruise
Another family favorite is the Jungle Cruise… and I mean family favorite except my sister. Sam thinks the Jungle Cruise is a little lame and not funny. However, if you enjoy a good pun then you will love this ride.
3. Pirates of the Caribbean
Our third boat ride on the list is Pirates of the Caribbean. Again, the history of this ride is so cool to learn. It’s a classic Disney dark ride and gives you a great break from the heat. I also love the Pirates films, so the ride itself is nostalgic.
4. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Anyone who grew up with Winnie the Pooh knows the ride is worth the wait. You get to float around in a honey pot through the stories of Pooh and his friends. It’s so sweet. And the line has play areas for kids, so if you have to wait for a bit it’s much more manageable.
5. Seven Dwarves Mine Train
The Seven Dwarves Mine Train is technically a coaster, but an easy one. I’m not a roller coaster girl in the slightest and I actually do enjoy this ride. It typically gets a long line, but I think it would be worth the wait.
6. Peter Pan’s Flight
If you had asked me a couple of months ago whether Peter Pans Flight was worth the wait I would have said no. For some reason the first time I rode it I thought… this is why people are waiting an hour? However, my daughter has recently reignited my love all things Neverland, so it’s now worth the wait to me.
7. Haunted Mansion
Okay, so I know the Haunted Mansion is a beloved ride, and I sort of get it… but spooky things (even childish spooky things) just give me the creeps. So I would not wait in line for the Haunted Mansion, but my family would, so it makes the list.
8. Dumbo the Flying Elephant
The final attraction in my list of Rides Worth Waiting for in Disney’s Magic Kingdom is Dumbo the Flying Elephant. This ride also ranks high on the nostalgia scale for me. It has a playground for your kiddos to play in while you wait, and gives you an excellent view of Magic Kingdom. It’s worth it.
