bestillandwrite On our most recent trip to Disney World, we stayed at a new resort. Well, new for us. The Beach Club was such an unexpected surprise. Do we have a new favorite Disney World resort? I think so. Read about The Best of Disney’s Beach Club Resort below!
1. Room
The rooms at Disney’s Beach Club Resort were spacious, clean, and so incredibly cozy. We have stayed at several different Disney resorts, and by far the beds at the Beach Club were the most comfortable. It was also very quiet in our room, in spite being so close to Epcot.
2. Location
Speaking of Epcot, we were in fact a 5-7 minute walk from our room to the entry of Epcot. Yup. In less than ten minutes we were through the International Gateway and meeting Daisy Duck. If you were planning on spending a lot of time at Epcot for a festival, or would like access to the skyliner, this resort is idyllic.
The Beach Club is also only a few minutes walk to the Yacht Club and Boardwalk. There are so many fun restaurants and shops at both resorts, you really can’t ask for more!
3. Cast Members
The kindness and attentiveness of the cast members at the Beach Club was unrivaled. We were there for only one night and found the hotel to be so welcoming we didn’t want to leave.
4. Amenities
The Beach Club pool, Stormalong Bay, is currently closed for refurbishment, but we can’t wait to go back when it is open. The entire area looked like so much fun. We were, however, able to experience a movie on the lawn, or rather, the beach. We were able to sink our toes in the sand and watch the Goofy Movie as a family, which was a real treat.
5. Dining
Our final perk of staying at Disney’s Beach Club is eating at Cape May Cafe. At Cape May you can enjoy Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast, which features your favorite Disney classic characters dressed in their beach day best. The buffet is delicious, and there is something for everyone.
Other than Cape May Cafe you can grab food to go at the Beach Club Marketplace. We took advantage of this to have our Mickey waffles on the beach in the morning. Does it get any better?
