Last weekend Colton and I attended the Festival of the Arts at EPCOT for the first time. Though it rained and rained for the entire weekend we still had a wonderful time. The festival is over now, but my hope is that this blog post will give you some inspiration for next year. Read below to discover The Best Foods at the Festival of the Arts 2024.
(Also, we had planned on trying a lot more dishes, but the rain made things a bit complicated. Still worth it.)
1. Neapolitan Dessert Trio at Deco Delights
We started our morning off strong with dessert. Now, I was that kid that only ate the chocolate out of the Neapolitan ice cream, but I have to say that the chocolate tart was actually my least favorite part of this dish. Every part of this was delicious, but my favorite was the strawberry mousse. The fresh strawberry flavor with that little sponge cake? Just yum. I hope this returns next year.
2. Carne Asada from El Artista Hambriento
My second favorite dish of the festival was the carne asada from El Artista Hambriento. The meat melted in my mouth and that little grilled queso? I could have eaten that all on its own. My husband and I shared this dish, but we both wished we had our own.
3. Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese at Pop Eats!
You guys, I wanted to be excited about this grilled cheese. It was by far the longest line we stood in for food. No lie. There were two options, one regular grilled cheese and a sandwich that included pimento cheese, bacon and friend green tomato. My husband enjoyed the pimento cheese version, but the plain version was underwhelming. Not a favorite, but to each his own!
4. Mozzarella Fritta from L’Arte Mangiare
How adorable is this mozzarella fritta on an artists pallate condiments? It’s really nothing mind-blowing, but I think what sells this dish is how it is plated. I’m also a sucker for pesto anything.
5. Wagyu Bun from Goshiki
I hate to end on a low note, but our least favorite item we tried at Festival of the Arts
