bestillandwrite On our most recent trip to Universal Studios, we had the opportunity to eat at Illumination’s Minion Cafe. To be honest, everyone working there looked miserable. We did go on Thanksgiving week, so that may have been a part of if. Overall it was a a cute restaurant with good food, so we would like to try it again sometime. 1. Chicken Stuart’s Szechuan Surprise
My husband ordered this meal and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! You always think theme park food will be basic, but this meal was flavorful and a nice change up from our usual faire.
2. Mel’s Meatball Mountain
This meatball pizza explosion was absolutely delicious. We ended up all sharing this meal and eating less of the other items, because it was that good. The bread was crisp on the outside and doughy on the inside. It was cheesy and had the perfect amount of sauce and meatballs. 10/10. Just YUM.
3. Mini Boss’ Mega Melt
I made the mistake of not realizing that the children’s grilled cheese was in fact a pimento cheddar grilled cheese. My daughter was not happy at how different the cheese looked, so mom fail. The tiny banana was a big hit, however, as were the tots. I mean, minion tots… is there anything better?
