There are so many souvenirs to buy at Disney World, but did you know that you can make your own? What I love about these Unique Souvenirs to Create at Disney World is that you create an even more impactful memory of your trip to keep forever. Read below to learn about our favorites!
1. Glass Keepsake
In the Germany portion of Epcot there is a stand for glass keepsakes. You can make a night light covering, a small dish or a stained glass piece. The fact that you can make your own little souvenir in Disney and have it shipped to your home makes this stop extra special. The keepsakes vary in pricing.
2. Lightsaber
Perhaps one of the most special souvenirs you can make at Disney World is a lightsaber. There is a lightsaber building experience in Hollywood Studios that surpasses any other experience we’ve shared. My husband had the opportunity to learn from the Gatherer’s how to make his very own working lightsaber, and it is now a prized possession. The workshop is a bit pricey, as you may expect, but it is beyond worth it.
3. Pressed Pennies
By far the cheapest souvenir on our list is pressed pennies. Our daughter loves to collected pressed pennies and calls them her treasures. You can find penny machines all over the parks with various images on them.
4. Mosaic
The Contemporary Resort has a crafting experience in which you create a small mosaic. We did not get the opportunity to create one on our most recent trip, but plan to do so in the future.
5. Etched Perfume
Another souvenir on my bucket list is buying a perfume from France in Epcot. You can have the bottle etched to customize it. I thought this idea sounded sweet, and would make for a beautiful souvenir.
6. Mickey’s Mini Garden
Mickey’s Mini Garden is a test tube, which is grown from the regeneration of cells of a parent plant found in the Land Pavilion in Epcot. You can choose plant tissue cultures from an orchid, dragon plant, or a cactus. The best part? It’s only $14.
