There are so many resorts to choose when going to Disney World, both on and off property. We’ve checked off several from the list, and Pop Century actually ranks pretty high. Read below to discover Why We Love the Pop Century Resort at Disney World.
1. Pricing
Pop Century Resort is listed as a value resort option at Walt Disney World. The average price per night is $206, which is pretty great considering all the other amenities included.
2. Transportation
One of my favorite perks of staying at the Pop Century Resort is the transportation. Pop is one of the resorts connected to the skyliner. You can use the skyliner to get to Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and other skyliner resorts. If you plan on spending a lot of time at those parks, then Pop should definitely be on your list.
3. Proximity
We stayed in a corner room of the 50s section at Pop Century and it was by far the best placed room. We were two minutes from the main building (food, front desk, bell services, etc). The laundry room was a few minutes walk away as well and very easy to use. Finally, there was maybe a 7 minute walk to the skyliner and our room was removed enough from the pool that there wasn’t a lot of noise. Idyllic.
4. Theming
I wasn’t so sure about the idea of a hotel themed after the decades, but honestly it was kind of nostalgic. It was fun to walk through each section of the resort and travel through time.
5. Extra Activities
Pop Century has a lot of extra activities available if you want to spend a day at the resort. We saw trivia, pool games, a s’mores pit and all sorts of things happening during our stay. They also have three pools and a large gift shop, as well as an incredible arcade and pin trading.
6. Photo Locations
The final reason Why We Love the Pop Century Resort at Disney World is the photo locations. There are dozens of spots to take cute family or individual photos. If you love to get a good selfie, then this is the resort for you.
