bestillandwrite On our most recent trip to Disneyland we choose to stay at the Pixar Place Hotel. Though it was a little pricey, we felt like it was worth the money and enjoyed our stay very much. Read more details below about Why We Love the Pixar Place Hotel at Disneyland.
1. Service
Every cast member we met working at the Pixar Place Hotel was so kind. Honestly, our time at Disneyland wasn’t as amazing as we had expected, but the cast members at our hotel made it so much better. For example, mousekeeping set up my daughters blanket and stuffies in new cute ways every day. So sweet.
2. Location
The obvious reason to choose Pixar Place is the location. Disneyland and California Adventure are only a 10-15 minute walk away from the lobby, which is just idyllic. I could not comprehend how close we were to the parks.
3. Theming
The Pixar Place Hotel is themed to, you guessed it, Pixar! There are so many details throughout the hotel to find. Some details are more subtle than others, but if you love the Pixar films, such as Elemental, Toy Story, Monsters Inc, or Inside Out, then you will love this hotel.
We were visiting during the holiday season, so there were dozens of Christmas trees decorated for the different movies. It was fun to figure out what each tree represented.
4. Food
On our last morning at Pixar Place we were able to enjoy the Great Maple Modern American Eatery. The menu had something for everyone, and the staff was so kind and accommodating for our three year old. Also, the pancake pops and beignets were incredible. I would ask for a little less powdered sugar next time, but that’s just a personal preference.
5. Characters
One thing we were excited about when choosing to stay at Pixar Place was the opportunity to meet Bing Bong. I wish this was a character we could meet at Disney World. He was so funny and sweet with the kids. We met him several times during our stay and it was heart-warming every time.
Another character that is exclusively at the Pixar Place Hotel is Joe Gardner from Soul. He comes out to play a jazz set at intervals throughout the afternoon and evening. Though I’ve only seen that movie once, I was so moved by his performance. We stopped to watch anytime he was playing, because it was hard not to enjoy the beauty.
